Getting Started with Medtribe


Welcome to Medtribe! This guide will help you create your first course and start managing training events.

First Steps

Getting started with Medtribe is straightforward:

  1. Create Your First Course – Set up a course with details and branding
  2. Add a Schedule – Create dates and times for your course
  3. Set Up Tickets – Configure pricing and booking options
  4. Publish and Share – Make your course visible and start accepting bookings

Creating Your First Course

Start by creating a course:

  1. Navigate to Course ManagementNew Course
  2. Fill in the basics:
    • Course Name – Clear, descriptive title
    • Summary – Brief description (240 characters max)
    • Provider – Your organization name
  3. Add detailed information:
    • Description – What attendees will learn
    • Learning Outcomes – Key takeaways
    • Prerequisites – Any requirements
  4. Customize branding:
    • Upload a course logo
    • Add images
    • Set background color

Adding Schedules

A course can have multiple schedules (different dates/times):

  1. Open your course
  2. Click Add Schedule
  3. Configure:
    • Start & End Times – When the training runs
    • Location – Physical venue or online
    • Capacity – Maximum attendees
    • Booking Deadline – Last date to book
    • Cancellation Deadline – Last date to cancel

Setting Up Tickets

Tickets define pricing and booking options:

  1. In your schedule, click Add Ticket
  2. Configure:
    • Name – e.g., “Standard”, “Early Bird”
    • Price – Free or paid
    • Quantity – How many available
    • Booking Limits – Min/max per booking

Publishing Your Course

Once everything is set up:

  1. Review all details
  2. Click Publish to make it visible
  3. Share the course link with potential attendees

Best Practices

  • Start Small – Create one course first to learn the system
  • Test Before Publishing – Use draft mode to test everything
  • Clear Descriptions – Help attendees understand what they’ll learn
  • Set Deadlines – Configure booking and cancellation deadlines
  • Monitor Bookings – Check regularly to see how your course is performing
